The Stratosphere in Las Vegas

The Stratosphere is the tallest observation tower in the United States. At its top, it stands at 1,149 feet tall which equals out to over 300 stories. If you are prone to panic attacks, going to the top may not be the best idea.

This is more than twice the height of the Empire State building in New York City. From this vantage point, visitors can see all of Las Vegas and parts of Arizona and California on a clear day. ‎ The Stratosphere offers rides up to the top to view the city at nighttime; however, this attraction does come with certain safety risks involved so proceed with caution if you decide to try the rides.

The Stratosphere in Las Vegas is one of the best places to go if you are looking for thrills in your life. It contains rides that will surely bring out your wild side.  One example of these rides is its famous roller coaster called X Scream. This ride starts off with a great drop from the top of the tower which sends riders on screaming through narrow turns and loops until it finally speeds up towards the end.

Another attraction originating at the Stratosphere is Insanity, which takes you about 17 seconds to reach speeds up to 40 miles per hour while rotating across all eight sides of the building.

At the top of the Stratosphere is Top of the World Restaurant. It is fine dining at it’s best. With 360 degree view of the city. It is sure to mesmerize.

Many attractions exist at this modern casino resort, including a roller coaster, swimming pools, shopping, and restaurants. One of the most delightful restaurant experiences is at the Top of the World, located at the very to of The Strat.
