The Stratosphere is the tallest observation tower in the United States. At its top, it stands at 1,149 feet tall which equals out to over 300 stories. If you are prone to panic attacks, going to the top may not be the best idea.
This is more than twice the height of the Empire State building in New York City. From this vantage point, visitors can see all of Las Vegas and parts of Arizona and California on a clear day. The Stratosphere offers rides up to the top to view the city at nighttime; however, this attraction does come with certain safety risks involved so proceed with caution if you decide to try the rides.
